In traditional external cable routing setups, a rubber seal is added between the headset top cover and the head tube to prevent water and dirt from entering the frame, thereby extending bearing life. Metal micro spacers are typically used to adjust for frame tolerance, ensuring effective waterproofing by the rubber seal while maintaining smooth rotation.

However, in integrated cable routing systems, metal spacers can easily damage the cables. TOKEN’s patented non-metal spacers address this issue by maintaining the necessary gap adjustment without harming the cables, ensuring that the waterproofing and steering smoothness of the integrated cable routing remain at optimal levels.
